Visit Morona Santiago



Morona Santiago is a province in the amazon region is very interesting place where you can find many activities to do and also a lot of fun. You can go during all year and if you decide to go should do by 1 week of stay. One problem to go there if you decide to go by car is the road is not very good you must go slowly also you can go by airplane from Quito to the capital of Morona Santiago "Macas" city it is the most beutiful of Morona and the people is very friendly there you can stay in the Peñon Amazonico hotel it is near of the center of Macas.




When you have arrived you can visit beautiful places like the Purisima de Macas church it is the main tourist atractive from the city the National Park Sangay where is the active Sangay volcano the Upano river some shuar cummunities and do expeditions to the amazing jungle. The food in macas is delicious you can try the tipic dishes "ayampaco" and "la guanta" and other dishes.



Other important places in Morona S. are the small towns like Sucua Mendez and Limon where you can go to relaxing and enjoy the nature while you swim or fish or do rafting in their rivers.

Is a very interested you article, and is beautifull you places thats explain. I loved Macas, Sucua; for the weather is very nice, only Mendez is a very hot but the people is wonderful.
Overcoat that isn't know this places and the South Amazon have a few turism.
Though I believe will improve when finish the way Sucua-Mendez is a great proyect near by finish.

The Amazon Region is for many people the best place to visit because of its nature and its particular characteristics which we can find visiting Morona Santiago, it´s a place that we must visit to understand the richness of our culture.
